Tama looked at him, tilting her head slightly, studying him quickly. She puts on a smile herself and reaches out for a handshake,”Hi! Im Tama. I guess we’ll be desk neighbors this year.” She unfortunately was a little tired from the morning drill practice Shinobu insisted they had, so she hoped looked presentable to her new classmate.
“You seem… tired…” he said, looking over her quickly, and noticing her quick expression change, before holding out his hand for a handshake, and leaving an energy bar in her hand,
“My name’s Jowi. Try and eat that quickly before the teacher arrives. It should help keep you awake.”
“Ehh?…” Surprised at the sudden bar in her hand, Tama shakes her head and hands it back to him just as quickly as she was given the bar. “I just met you, and I’m taking your food already, I can’t do that.”
“I have more. I’m not needing it. Just eat up and don’t argue with me. I see someone who needs help, and I help them. Simple as that.”
He refused the food, pushing it back into her hand, “Just eat it. Consider it a present.”
Tama frowns and takes the bar back.”Fine.” Munching on the bar, she suddenly smirks, a thought crossing her mind. “Oh my, Jowi, first we exchange names and now you’re giving gifts to me? Isn’t this a bit too fast for us? What’s next, holding hands?” Tama teased him, she didn’t like that he was stubborn about helping her, so the idea crossed her mind to tease him and knock him down a peg.
Jowi chuckled, knowing this game all too well, and smirked, leaning in, “I mean, we could always go straight to kissing if you’d like, Tama-kun~” he replied jokingly, though with a tone of seductiveness.
Tama raises an eyebrow and smiles, if he’s willing to get so close to her than he won’t mind a touch. She raises her hand,”I mean we can Jowi-chan~,” she places her hand on his face, suddenly pushes it away from her own as soon as the school bell rings. Laughing, Tama gets up,”I don’t kiss before marriage though.”
Jowi chuckled, “Shall we meet after school then? Perhaps we could go for a bite to eat?”
He smiled, and slipped her a piece of paper, with his number on it, wanting to see how far this would go. She was rather cute, after all.
