Jowi, wearing a slightly more formal attire today for the event, replacing his sweater with a plain white tee shirt and a jacket, entered the venue, and found himself a nice seat in the middle, somewhere he could keep an eye on the venue with a stand if need be, and waited for the show to start.

Jowi smiles, hugging her back, “Hey, don’t even worry about it. I’ll be back, and I’ll see you then. Where should I meet you and how should I contact you?”

“I could give my number.” Monty grinned, “and there’s a little cafe on the corner not far from here.”

Jowi smiled, “Alright, give me your number, and when I get back from Italy, I’ll give you a call and we can meet up.”

He reached into his pocket, and took out his cell phone, ready to type in her number, before his phone vibrated, and he answered it,

“Yeah? Really, already? Alright, I’ll be in front shortly for pickup.” He ended the call and looked to her, holding out his phone, “Yeah, here, just type in your number and I’ll be on my way. They booked me a flight earlier than I expected.”

“Talk about a shame.” Monty tsked, taking the phone and hastily typing her number, “but it’s alright. You’re not the first to walk out and you won’t be the last.” She handed it back to him.

“Difference is, I’ll come back.” He replied, smiling to her and taking his phone back, “Welp, I gotta go. I’ll be seeing ya!”

And with that, he disappeared, stopping time and exiting the building, and disappearing from her life for two years.
