“WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?”
Jolyne stood there paralyzed with shock and confusion. She has not experienced anything this bizarre in fuckin’ months.
“Oto-san, how…?!”
“I suppose it’s something called Over Heaven. It allows Star Platinum’s fists to overwrite reality. It took a few years of practice to get enough control to come visit you again.” Jotaro said, “It seems my timeline diverged far more than just meeting you years before you were born.”
“Visit me again…” She trailed off, not comprehending what was unfolding in front of her.
Suddenly, realization!
“Oh! You mean what happened about a month ago?! I thought… that was a dream.” It was a fuzzy memory in her mind, but nonetheless, she remembered every feeling and moment she spent with her younger Father. What did he mean by his timeline diverged? What nonsense is he spouting constantly?! Ugh. He’s always so vague.
“Why are you here?”
“Apparently, the world I come from is vastly different from the one you may know. Many people who should have died did not. Kakyoin, Abdul, and Iggy all survived the fight with DIO. Something that should not have happened. And it apparently has something to do with this Over Heaven ability I’ve acquired.” He explained,
“But that isn’t why I’m here. I’m here to show you these.”
He held out an envelope of photos of Jotaro with Jolyne. Her riding a bike for the first time, the two of them having ice cream together, a picture with her and all of the Crusaders.
“I kept my promise to be a better father.”
