Jolyne was taking a stroll around town later in the evening, as she tends to do when she’s ill-tempered. As she was finally becoming a bit more relaxed, she spots Jotaro out of the corner of her eye. Her heart flutters a bit, a bit anxious at his appearance. She wasn’t expecting him to be around town at all. She quickly changes her direction and encounters him after a thought’s hesitation on whether or not to talk to him.
“Yo. You uh… look lost? Are you feeling alright?” She says to him slightly confused, yet having a slight scowl towards the man, which is not too unusual for Jolyne. He should know this town like the back of his hand. Why is he acting like he’s in a new place?
Suddenly, Jotaro was right next to Jolyne in what appeared to be a furnished hotel, of some sorts?. Before he could speak, Jolyne quickly motions to be quiet, an intense look in her eyes. She pushed him against the wall and did the same next to him. Jolyne assumed they were on a boat, for she could feel the rock under her feet. They could hear talking from down the ill-lit hallway.
After checking for both ways to be clear, she went ahead and quietly stepped down the hallway and near the room where loud machines were gearing and screams were heard. There was a dead woman outside the door. “That was the source of the scream, huh? What’s happening in there?” Jolyne whispered. They both peered in to what seemed like a fight between a decapitated head and a strongly-built man. His eyes were not full of rage, but full of sorrow and empathy.
“Erina, take a good look!” A distinct, yet familiar voice yelled out.
“DIO….” Jotaro growled, clenching his fists in rage, “So this is what happened. When he took my great-great-grandfathers body… a hundred years before I got my Stand.”
Star Platinum glared at the decapitated head, and Jotaro did the same, “That’s the bastard who almost killed my mother. Who set our family on it’s cursed path in the first place!”
