((Starter for @jotaro-fuckin-kujo))

regularlyscheduledjolynemom:

@jotaro-fuckin-kujo: It was a bright spring morning, and Jolyne was standing on the deck of a small marine biology research vessel with both of her parents– Dr. Jotaro and Dr. Marina Kujo. Both were Stand users, with Marina’s Stand resembling a mermaid. She called it Barracuda, and it had the ability to read hidden emotions. To her knowledge, Jolyne did not possess a Stand, or know they even existed, but her mother knew Stand users attracted other Stand users, and her biggest fear was that a Stand user would attack the Kujos and use Jolyne as collateral. She’d rather die than have anyone hurt a hair on Jolyne’s head.

Jolyne was six, and sipping a small mug of tea on her mother’s lap while she analyzed a sample of water under a microscope. Marina held her daughter with one arm, adjusting the clarity of the microscope with her other hand. Quietly, Marina took her hand off the microscope and motioned her husband over, her voice one of concern.

“Jotaro, look at this. I don’t think I like what I see.”

Jotaro walked over, wearing his Part 4 attire, and called out his Stand, Star Platinum to use its perfect eyes to analyze the sample, “What’s your concern?” He asked, as he patted Jolyne on the head, and kissed his wife on the cheek.

Though he was dedicated to his work, his experiences with the Jolyne of another world changed his perspective, moving his focus more towards his family than it otherwise would have been.

One of Jotaro’s Speedwagon Foundation partners was sitting off to the side, looking out over the sea, but turned his attention to the couple momentarily, before resuming his observations.

It was the middle of summer and the town was bustling with people, teenagers living life as they pleased since school wasn’t taking up their entire day. Caesar was settled behind the counter of her bakery, listening to the sound of children laughing in the park across the street. She was leaning against the counter, her eyes closed lightly as she listened to the world around her, ears twitching at any new sound falling within her range of hearing.

What a lovely, quiet little town. I’m glad I settled down here instead of Tokyo. Caesar thought to herself in her dreamy daze. She did look like she was about to passout outside of her thoughts, since she’d been standing there with her eyes closed for so long. They weren’t busy at all, so she didn’t really care anyways.

Jowi points at himself, asking if she was talking to him, “Me? No, just… a lot of fighting in Morioh. It’s nice to have a day where a Stand User isn’t trying to kill me the minute I get out of bed.”

He relaxed back into the seat, “Its good to find another friend. And what’s more important someone who’s encountered Kira, maybe you could help Rohan with the search…”

Caesar nods a little bit, not really understanding what that was like, but she did know what it was like to need a friendly face. She hugs him tighter, nuzzling her face into his neck. “It must be hard, but you’ll be able to wake up to a friendly face for a while! A little kitty too!”

Vanilla was settled in his lap, wiggling his ears and meowing at them when Caesar said kitty. He stretches out, rolling over onto his back with another meow. Her stand also appeared on the other side of him, cuddling up to his leg.

He smiled, hugging back, “Its Okay, really. Everyone is working so hard to find Kira, and I have to do my part. But yeah, a friendly face will definitely help.”

He felt incredibly happy at the discovery of a new ally. Her stand might not be the most useful in finding Kira, but it could certainly help the Morioh Warriors relax in between fights and keep morale up.

Caesar hugs him tighter for a second, giving him a kiss on his nose before she crawls up to the front seat. “Can you drive? Do you want to drive to your house?”

Caesar help out her keys to him, smiling. “You seem trapped in snuggles back there though, you can just tell me the way..”

“Nah, it’s your car, you can drive.” He replied, petting the cat, blushing a little bit from the kiss, and looking down at her stand.

“I’ll just give you directions as we go on.”

A first date.

Jowi arrived at the restaurant early, just to be safe. He was a little bit nervous, but he kept his cool as he awaited his date.

Monty Crue. A beautiful girl he had met just over two years ago during his earlier days at the Speedwagon Foundation. Looking back at it, he had been incredibly lucky to meet a girl like her. Talented, beautiful, smart, and caring.

He thought back to how she had reacted to him when they first met, and how he faked her out with his stand. He smiled, fondly remembering those days of his life.

As he snapped out of it, he saw Monty arriving, walking over to greet her, “Good evening, Ms. Crue. You look spectacular as always.”

@a-glass-castle

Jowi frowned a bit, “I’d really love to, but that’s not who I came here to spend time with. That’s Monty Crue, the performer. I was hoping to spend some time with the actual person I’ve come to know and love. You don’t need to be nervous about spending time with me, we’ve been through enough by now, I’d think?”

“Damn,” Monty grumbled, slouching back in her chair as she crossed her arms, “am I that easy to read?” She then glanced over her shoulder. Several other patrons turned their heads away from her. The singer sighed. “I honestly didn’t think I would attract this much attention.”

“No, you’re not easy to read. I’m just exceptionally good and experienced at trying to figure out what Jotaro is thinking. Man has the expressions of a statue.”

He smiled, and took her hand, “Just relax. You’re doing fine. If I didn’t think this would go well, I wouldn’t have asked you out here.”

“Hmmm…” The singer hummed, “well, alright.” She glanced over her shoulder again. One patron, an older gentleman, met her gaze and held up his wine glass with a nod. The singer smiled softly and waved; he was a regular, always on time for her show. Monty then back to her menu. “I still can’t make up my mind…”

“Just pick what speaks to you. What do you see that just feels right? Just pick food like you picked your Stand Name. A stand user’s instincts are often one of their strongest points. So why not put it to the test? Here, I’ll try something new… Fettucini Alfredo.”

He said, quickly scanning the menu and pointing to a random item,

“Never had it, even though I spent so long in Italy. But let’s try something new. Something to signify the start of something new.”

“Of course… do you want to take Vanilla to my car while I get his things? He doesn’t need a leash since he likes car rides.” Caesar sets the cat down and it bounces after Jowi excitedly hearing her utter the words car ride and his name in the same variation of sentences.

Jowi smiled at the kitten, bending down to pick him up, “Sure. Which way to the garage?” He asked, scratching the little cat behind the ears.

“Straight down the hall, it’s a metal door.. but if you set Vanilla down he’ll run there and lead you! He loves the car and has his own baby carrier in the backseat.”

“Hah! That’s adorable!” He let the cat go to watch it do so, following him to the car, and opening the back seat, before going back, and starting to put Caesar’s bags in the trunk, before sitting down in the front passenger seat. He breathed a sigh of relief as he laid back in the seat.

It had been too long in Morioh since everything just went well. He had a lead on Kira, he had protected her long enough to get her to safety, and they hadn’t been attacked by a stand user yet.

She did look like she was about to passout outside of her thoughts, since she’d been standing there with her eyes closed for so long. They weren’t busy at all, so she didn’t really care anyways.

Jowi calmly followed, looking back at the Stand, before turning back to Caesar, “Maybe you should call your stand in? There’s a ton of stand users in Morioh, and I don’t want them mistaking you for being hostile.”

He kept suspiciously glancing around, trying to keep an eye out for any stand users that might want to ambush him or Caesar.

“Oh! Okay…” Caesar looks back at her stand and it slowly fades away. She didn’t really like recalling her since she loved being outside so much.

“How many nice stand users do you know overall? At least in this city?” She asks, looking a tad worried.

Jowi took a deep breath, counting up the Morioh Warriors and the two Crusaders. He thought about it for a minute then hesitantly replied, “Uh… I think about nine? Maybe ten? We aren’t sure about Mikitaka being a stand user…” he thought about the bizarre possible alien, before turning his attention back to the girl,

“But yeah, we have almost a small army at this point. We had more people, but… Kira killed two of them…”

Caesar let out a soft little gasp. “Oh.. I’m sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do to help? My stand isn’t really much of a fighter..”

Caesar squeezes his hand gently, furrowing her brows in worry. “I hope the rest of you stay safe and sound.. I wouldn’t want you to get hurt!”

“That’s why I’m so concerned about you.” He said, a hint of anger in his voice, remembering Shigechi, and how scared he must’ve been,

“Shigechi and Cinderella didn’t have combat stands either. They were helpless against Kira. I won’t let him do this anymore. I’m gonna use my Stand to stop him, and any other people who want to use their power to hurt others.”

There was a look of firey determination on his face, and his free hand was clenched tightly in a fist of rage.

Caesar smiles warily, hugging his arm once again. “Surely with you here to protect the innocent they’ll stay safe. You’ve got that look in your eye I’ve only seen true heros have..”

Caesar calls out her stand, holding it gently in her free arm so it can soothe his nerves. He looked like he could use some help relaxing again. Caesar wasn’t sure who the two people he mentioned were and their relationships with him, but he seemed to care deeply for them nonetheless.

He took a deep breath, and exhaled, relaxing greatly as he did so, “Thanks. It really means a lot. With how hectic Morioh has gotten, it’s nice to have someone believe in you.”

He wrapped his arm around her, “I promise you, nothing is going to hurt you while I’m around.”

“Of course I believe in you.. Thank you for protecting me, Jonathan.” Caesar cooes adoringly at him holding her close. “I do feel safe with you..”

She wasn’t lying, her worries were soothed by his presence. Not just over the whole idea of stands, but she often felt in danger just walking home. People would look at her funny for her appearance and the happy, bubbly way she carried herself. Now they weren’t.

“So, how much farther to your house?” He asked, now feeling much more comfortable with the girl than he did a few minutes ago.

It was clear to him that he had found a true ally. One who might not be there in a fight, but one who would always be there to support him nonetheless. Someone he could fight for.

“Not to rush our walk or anything, but I don’t want you getting so distracted we walk past it.”

“While you are quite distracting…” She starts in a teasing manner, giving him a big smile. “..my house is right up there.”

Caesar points to a small but cute little pink house with a white picket fence and a garden. It didn’t stand out too much since most houses in her neighborhood weren’t traditional Japanese houses, but it was very bright and inviting.

Caesar walks him through the little gate, going up to the porch and taking out her keys. She looks up at him once she unlocks the door, pushing it open to reveal her very pink interior decor. “Do you want to come in and have a cold drink while I pack up?”

“No. I’ll be fine, thank you.” He answered, looking around, and examining the vast amount of pink in the house,

‘Geez, this is so cheery it makes me think she has a secret torture room…’ he thought to himself, quickly shaking the thought from his mind shortly after.

He waited patiently for her to pack, knowing that she may be very particular about what she wants to bring and perhaps didn’t quite know what to bring.

Caesar hurried off to her room to pack. She spent a good amount of time in there before coming back with three bags and a smile on her face. “Do you want to take my car to your house? I hope it’s not too much trouble.”

Caesar was referring to a little white furball hiding behind her legs, only when it poked it’s tiny head out did he see it was a tiny kitten. A shy little guy at that who didn’t look too pleased his mommy was leaving again.

“The cat can come with.” Jowi said, ”I’ll carry the food and water dish. And sure, a car would be nice.”

He looked over at the little kitten, and gave it a warm smile, hoping for it to take a liking to him.

Caesar picks up the kitten and it melts in her arms blissfully. “Do you want to say hello before we go so he knows you’re friendly?” She takes a step closer to Jowi, the cat rolling in her arms to face his tummy upwards in submission since Caesar seemed friendly with him.

“His name is Vanilla… because when I first rescued him he was playing on my counter and landed in my Vanilla cake.” She giggles, tussling the small cat gently. “I had to install doors on the kitchen entryway.”

“Heh.” Jowi chuckled, rubbing the kitten’s head, “Now don’t cause a huge problem at my place, Vanilla.”

Jowi turned, and started to head for the door, “So, if you have everything you need, let’s get to your car and head out.”

A tall and thin, but muscular man wearing a black shirt and jeans, with spiky black hair slicked back a bit approached Tama, and looked her over silently, “You seem... familiar, somehow... have I maybe seen you around at the Foundation?”

Tama raised an eyebrow at the man who approached her. “You work for the Speedwagon foundation? I’m sorry, you are…?”

@a-glass-castle

“Jowi!” Monty grinned at him, throwing her arms around his neck. She had been looking forward to seeing him all day, taking off rehearsal early just to get ready. Of course, her coworkers were shocked when they heard the reason. Monty Crue never went on dates. She would have been late if not for her manager scaring away the group of nosy waitresses that had caught her as she was walking out the door. “I hope i haven’t kept you waiting long.”

“Of course not.” He replied, taking her hand and kissing it, “I only just got here a few minutes ago. Shall we get to our seats?”

He held her hand as they walked over to confirm their arrival,

“Table for two, reservation under the name White.”

The waiter nodded, “Right this way, sir.”

They were led to their table, and were seated right away as they started to look at the menu.

Monty was impressed. But she couldn’t help feeling a little nervous herself. The singer could feel eyes- men, entranced by her and women, full of jealousy- on her back. It almost made her pull a crystal out just to have it. “My, there’s so many choices!” She exclaimed, trying to hide it, “Ah, they even have cheesecake!”

Jowi chuckled, nodding, “Yeah… I think I’ll order… hm… perhaps some curry… haven’t had that in a while….” he said, flipping through the menu himself, spotting the long list of desert items, “Wow… that’s a lot of chocolate…”

“Yes, quite.” Monty replied quietly, flipping back to the entree section, “I’ve never had curry before, but I’ve heard it’s got a kick to it.” She glanced up from her menu. “Can you drink, Jowi? Wine, I mean.”

“I usually don’t.” He replied, shrugging, “But I do occasionally have a glass of wine or two. And yeah, curry does have a bit of a punch, can be pretty spicy depending on the cook, and how you order it. I prefer mild, though.”

He felt at ease, but knew that his past made him a bit of a target for enemy stand users, and kept an eye out for anyone suspicious. He didn’t want this date ruined.

She did look like she was about to passout outside of her thoughts, since she’d been standing there with her eyes closed for so long. They weren’t busy at all, so she didn’t really care anyways.

“What probably kept you safe was witnesses, or perhaps he already had a hand that he wasn’t ready to get rid of yet… either way… if anyone comes in here like that, you need to call me, and I’ll get my friends here to help. We’re all working together, using our stands to try and find him and fight him.”

He took her hand, and placed a contact card in it,

“Now that I know you’ve met him, you may be in real danger. You can come stay at my house if you want, you’d be safest there…” he said, looking off to the side and blushing a little bit, “I’m not gonna ask you to abandon your shop here, but you can’t be alone while he’s out. He might come try and find you. I couldn’t stand to let someone get hurt that I could have helped!”

His concern was genuine, and highly overriding her stand’s effects at the moment, though Star Platinum continued to pet the rabbit, and he did feel happy that he had the chance to save her.

Caesar couldn’t help her cheeks turning red and the little giggles escaping her lips as he ranted about wanting to keep her safe. Wanting to keep everyone safe. It warmed her heart to see him so passionate about it!

She held the card to her chest, nodding in response to his offer. “Okay, I’d be happy to come stay with you if it eases your mind. I might have a stand, but she’s not a… fighter, I guess you could say..”

Caesar gestures to the rabbit rolling around in Star’s arms and giving him little cheek licks for kisses. It seemed happy though, letting out little squeaks now and again as it adored being held so much.

He nodded, sighing in relief. He had Star Platinum put the bunny on the ground, and then called it back, “Okay. So just, uh… pack up your shop and close up for the day… and, um… I’ll bring you to my place. You can stay there until we capture and defeat Kira.”

He turned his back to her, and faced the door, “I’ll wait here, if anything startled you, I’ll be right there…”

He kept himself at the ready, unable to use Star Platinum at the moment because Jotaro was out using it. He would have to be more creative with what stand he uses to keep her safe on the way to his house… perhaps Red Hot Chili Peppers would be best suited for the task.

“Pack up my shop? Can we go to my house to get an overnight bag or something? I don’t exactly keep spare clothes here.” Caesar sets the paper down and hurries after him as he walks off.

“I don’t really need to clean anything up either. Would you like to take some baked goods home as a thank you for protecting me?” Caesar gives him an innocent smile, grabbing onto his arm.

He nodded, “Yeah. I suppose we could stop by your place…” he replied, before looking back,

“Oh? Uh, no thank you. I don’t need any payment. I shouldn’t need to be rewarded for doing the right thing. You worked hard on those goods and I wouldn’t feel right taking money out of your pocket like that.”

He raised an eyebrow as she grabbed his arm, “Uh… we can get some food at my house, maybe watch a movie on TV if you want…?”

“Oh, I really don’t mind.. I’d like to repay you for helping me.. for teaching me what a stand is too. I thought I was going crazy..” Caesar smiles up at him, hugging his arm to her squishy chest.

“I promise it’s no trouble..” Caesar lays her head on his arm.

“You being safe and surviving this ordeal will be payment enough.” He said, giving her a smile, “Let’s head to your house, you can get your clothes and whatever else you’ll need, then we’ll head to my house.”

He didn’t seem to mind her advances, but they certainly made him blush a little.

“Oh, you can see that?” He asked, “That’s Star Platinum. It’s a Stand. I’m just using it to help speed up the process of looking through the files. Three sets of hands are better than two, you know?”

He continued to search through the files, and Star Platinum looked over to her, and waved, before returning. To work, flipping through files, looking over them, and continuing to search.

Star Platinum? Stand? Is that what my little friend is? Caesar thought as she stared at Star in awe, waving back and giggling at him. So far she liked stands, they were cute.

She summoned her own, a little pink bunny that hopped over to Jowi and rubbed against his leg like a cat. Caesar sat down with a stack of papers to help look through them.

Jowi glanced at the Stand, and looked over to it, reaching over to pat it on the head, but his hand went right through it, and he nodded, “Right…” he mumbled, as he found a page with the desired name on it,

“Here! Kira Yoshikage! It says he ordered a cake… shaped like a hand… yeah that’s not creepy at all. Did he come here often? I need to know as much about him as you can tell me!”

Caesar felt an odd sensation on the top of her head and looked up at him as he found the paper. “Hand… cake? That guy? He requested me to paint the cake’s fingernails and make the frosting soft and smooth.. he also asked who’s hand I referenced for the shape and lines! When I told him my hand he got this… weird look on his face and kissed my hands.. Told me to keep my fingernails clean before he left. There might be an address connected to the order number because we only take credit cards for custom orders.. Can I see the paper?”

Caesar stood up, her little stand pawing at his feet now, desperate for love and attention like a little scamp. It wiggled over to paw at Star, crying out like an actual baby bunny, making cute little squeaking noises.

“Okay, wow.” Jowi replied, handing her the paper, and looking disgusted, “You are incredibly lucky. That guy is a serial killer with a stand called Killer Queen. He uses it to blow up his victims so that nothing is left behind. Apparently he takes their hands afterwards. I didn’t know how twisted he would get about it…”

Star Platinum picked up the other stand, and began to pet it, slightly confused as it squeaked at him.

A tall, thin black haired man wearing a school uniform walked in. His hair was spiky, but slicked back a bit, and he looked over the different baked goods in the store, before approaching the counter, “Hello. I’m just wondering if you know about anyone named Kira Yoshikage. Has he been here before?”

The student was clearly muscular despite his slim build, and certainly had an air of confidence about him, but didn’t seem arrogant about it.

Caesar made a startled little squeaking noise when his voice rang in her ears so suddenly. She opened her big green eyes as her face started to flush in embarrassment. She wasn’t really paying attention at all.

Putting her small hands down on the counter she looked up at him for a moment, her watery eyes searching his face. “Y..Yoshikage… Kira? It sounds familiar… but I only take names on credit cards, online orders or call ins..”

“Hm… Perhaps if you could check your records? Maybe if he’s called in at some point? If he had any special orders?” He asked hopefully, glancing down to her nametag.

“Caesar, huh? Rare to find an Italian name in Morioh. My name’s Jonathan, just call me Jowi.”

“Um.. w-would you like to help me? I’m afraid all of my records are on paper…” Caesar replies in a shy tone, almost sinking under the counter to hide from his odd stare.

She remains above the counter though, fumbling with the cat shaped name tag pinned to her frilly pink apron. “Oh, I’m not from here.. It seems you aren’t either with a British name like Jonathan. I’ve always loved that name…”

He chuckled and nodded, “My family is from London, but I am from Morioh.” He replied, “But yes, I would be happy to help you go through your records.”

He walked around and behind the counter, a soft and happy expression on his face.

“We’re not busy at all anyways..” Caesar slid out of her seat, now standing at just under five feet tall. Even her small stature embarrassed herself as she walked him back to the office where they kept all their files.

Even the filing cabinet was taller than her, but luckily she bent over to open the bottom drawer, sighing softly. She’d forgotten if her skirt was too small so she immediately shot back into the upright standing position, pulling at the end of the back of her dress shyly. “Here is where we keep them..”

Jowi didn’t notice her skirt, he wasn’t that type of guy. His mind was on finding Shiechi’s killer right now. He took the files, and began flipping through them, calling on Star Platinum to help him search faster, unaware Of Caesar’s stand.

Retrieve the Arrow!

Jowi walked up to the meeting spot, wearing a fancy Italian suit with a zipper on the front of it, waiting for Monty. The business attire actually fit him, and his hair was combed to look more neat and organized. With him, he carried a briefcase with two other Stand Arrows inside.

Jowi mumbled something about stopping time, as they advanced to the vault, but then spoke up, “Well, at least she didn’t try to kill me. Last time I met a girl’s parents, three of my friends died, and another one gained Ultimate power. Italy was bizarre.”

“These arrows seem to bring trouble wherever they go. Has anyone been cut by the arrow since then? And if so, did they start seeing anything unusual?” He asked, “That is also rather common.”

“No one except Montgomery and my ex, I’m afraid. He locked it away in the vault almost immediately afterwards.” The old woman took a sip of her tea, “no one goes down there. But then, I don’t think anyone wants to.”

Jowi nodded, “Well, seeing as how you’re already involved in this, having witnessed the aftermath of what must have been a Stand Ability… perhaps you’d like to hear about this from your daughter?” He asked, reaching for the zipper on his suit.

“What would she want with me?” The elder sighed, eyes brimming with tears, “I took away her childhood. I shunned her when she needed me. What happened wasn’t her fault and yet, I made her feel like it was.”

Jowi opened the Zipper, allowing Monty to see and come out of the pocket dimension, “The fact that you know that you have done wrong is proof enough that you care. But Monty should be the one to tell you about Stands.”

Monty took the sides and slid out, stumbling slightly before regaining her balance. “I’ve got to say; best place to meditate. It’s nice and quiet.” She then turned to the old woman, who only stared. “Hello mother. Long time no see.” Her mother shook her head. “Montgomery. You always knew how to make an entrance.” The singer glanced over at Jowi. “You don’t giving us a minute alone, do you?”

“Oh, yeah, absolutely.” He said, “Oh, and by the way, I can find out what happened to that guy ten years ago. Just for thought when you’re done and all!”

With that he left the room, leaving them in private, and releasing Sticky Fingers as a stand.

“I never thought he would leave.” Her mother muttered, “you could have just come by yourself you know.” Monty sighed, taking Jowi’s spot. “And be turned away at the door? No. We need to talk, face to face, especially since you plan on remarrying papa. I’m not going to let you hurt him again.” The singer hissed through her teeth, “I will tell you that now.” The older woman sat her cup down. “Anything else, Montgomery?” She inquired sharply. “Nope. Except the code to the vault.” The singer retorted. The elder sighed, sliding a small piece of paper towards her with numbers written on it. “You have an hour to get it out of this house.” Monty snatched the paper up. “With pleasure. Mother.” And with that, she opened the door, nodding to Jowi. “Let’s go.”

“Didn’t go well, I imagine.” He said, following her, “Why don’t you try and make up with her? Get along with your family? I mean, if you’re really sure it won’t work out then, I guess I can’t force you… I guess I’m just trying to say I’ve seen both sides of the coin when it comes to family.”

Jowi opened the Zipper, allowing Monty to see and come out of the pocket dimension, “The fact that you know that you have done wrong is proof enough that you care. But Monty should be the one to tell you about Stands.”

Jowi walked up to the meeting spot, wearing a fancy Italian suit with a zipper on the front of it, waiting for Monty. The business attire actually fit him, and his hair was combed to look more neat and organized. With him, he carried a briefcase with two other Stand Arrows inside.

“Understandable.” He replied, hurrying up the stairs to meet with Monty’s mother, arriving to the room a few minutes before they were to meet, briefcase in hand,

“Miss Crue.” He said, as he approached the table, “I hope you’re having a good day.”

The woman sitting before him sighed, eyes once a brilliant emerald green much like her daughters now dull. “It’s been adequate.” She replied coldly, “That was very kind of you to ask though.”

“Well, I’m sure that the Speedwagon Foundation notified you as to why I’m here?” He asked, sitting down, and placing the briefcase beside him.

He was unfazed by her demeanor, ready for anything, but didn’t let that be apparent.

The old woman nodded. “Yes. Needless to say, I’m not surprised.” The maid that had answered the door stepped in, a silver tray in hand. She set it on the table between them, bowed and left as quickly as possible. The elder reached for the pot and poured a cup of hot tea. “I take it Montgomery is the one who told you.” She stated flatly, holding it out to him, “Is she here, with you?”

He was silent for a moment, and then sighed, “Yes. Now, I don’t want any issues. That arrow is very dangerous. It was used by a serial killer in my hometown of Morioh a few years ago. If at all possible, I would like to buy the arrow from you.”

Monty’s mother chuckled. “Buy it? You can have the damn thing for nothing, for all I care.” She poured herself a cup, a heaping spoon of sugar following. “Even if it won’t change anything.”

“What do you mean? Has something happened with the Arrow?” He inquired, a little concerned, “did someone die because of it?”
